Grant Funded Startups
IAC works with grant funded startups to introduce their research, technology, and capabilities to corporations as a solution to corporate R&D initiatives. IAC secures corporate sponsored and private investment to facilitate additional research and commercialization while generating monetization events for innovators. Phase IIB SBIR applicants can receive additional leverage through matching funding from the government.
Accelerators / Incubators
IAC works with accelerators and incubators to connect their portfolio companies with corporate R&D initiatives and accompanying private and corporate sponsored investment. IAC also offers ownership shares in any research contracts into which their portfolio companies enter.
Universities
IAC works with research universities to bring investment into university research and spin outs and acquires royalty steams from universities. IAC tracks the research output and availability of university researchers for collaboration with corporate sponsors, innovators, and other researchers.
Contract R&D Labs
IAC connects R&D labs with corporate sponsors, innovators, and other researchers, which provides additional revenue through contract work and ongoing royalties from both internal and contract-based research. IAC also acquires royalty streams from R&D labs to fund operations, internal research, and/or to de-risk dependance on future royalty streams.
Corporations
IAC works with corporations to identify R&D gaps and source innovation and research teams that fulfill corporate R&D initiatives. IAC also helps corporations generate new revenue streams by co-investing with corporations in innovation that will drive demand for existing and future corporate products and services while creating future royalty streams.
IAC was founded out of the need for a new model of R&D funding and monetization that bridges the gap between research and commercialization where many valuable innovations succumb to the valley of death.
